I’m a graduate of Central Saint Martins university of the Arts London. Over the years I have experimented with many mediums in the form of time-based installations, found objects, moving images, digital imagery and all the traditional mediums such as oil, Charcoal, watercolour and Acrylics. My work is versatile in medium and subject matter. Concept was everything to me earlier on in my career. but I have learned to embrace again what made me fall in love with art as a kid, the process of painting and drawing in its traditional form. Deep down I’m a romanticist. I want to express the human emotions in my work, what I feel at particular moment and place, my surroundings matter to me, the exciting and the mundane.
In the series, familiar places, I explore those particular emotions and let the audience interpret them as they wish. My impressionistic style allows me to explore those fleeting emotions we experience during the day, the shifting light at particular time of day create a mood and evokes certain emotions.
